Business Mouse Arrives on Channel4.com
Business Mouse has arrived on Channel4.com as part of their new Comedy Blaps comedy showcase.
The latest series from Modern Toss, it features the adventures of the inept Business Mouse and his bumbling associates as they invest in a variety of unlikely schemes. We animated the three episode mini-series for Modern Toss in a style inspired by classic cartoons like Top Cat.
Business Mouse is a launch title for Comedy Blaps, Channel 4's new online video website that aims to showcase and develop new comedy talent. New episode's will be released weekly on the custom Comedy Blaps site and on Youtube.

Business Mouse! Coming soon!
We're very excited about the fast approaching launch of Business Mouse, a new animation for Channel 4 from Modern Toss.
We've been busy animating this new cartoon about a little mouse built for big business. Soon you'll be able to watch as he blunders his way through deal after deal at rapid pace. Expect hilarious, hurricane velocity and stylish animation from this inspiring but reckless mouse entrepreneur and his portfolio of business associates.

Famous and Fearless
For Channel 4's new celebrity challenge show, Famous and Fearless, LSM were asked to provide character design and animation for their play along live prediction game.
The brand new prime-time show features celebrities facing a series of urban and extreme sports challenges on live television. Contestants include Dame Kelly Holmes and rugby legend Jonah Lomu, alongside musicians, actors and adventurers.
We created unique winning and losing animations for every contestant, alongside tug of war animations for the prediction screen.
The game, which can only be played while challenges are being broadcast live on Channel 4, is integral to the show, with gamers predictions feeding directly into the broadcast to be analysed by the shows presenters, Chris Evans and Jack Osbourne.

Gaspard and Lisa
LSM spent much of last year helping Impossible TV and Chorion Silver Lining Productions create a brand new children's television series, Gaspard and Lisa. Comprising of 50 x 11'00" episodes, plus 1 x 22'00" special, the pre-school series is based on the Gaspard et Lisa books created by Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben.
The show follows the adventures of two six year-old best friends living in Paris, and is made in beautiful high-definition 3D animation, mixing paint textures with incredibly detailed locations to create a unique look.
Currently being broadcast on TF1 in France and in Japan, there are plans to take the show to many more countires, including the UK.

Leila Johnston's How to Behave in the Outside World
LSM has created interactive animations called "How to Behave in the Outside World" for the BBC Comedy Blog's new columnist Leila Johnston. The animations are comedic guides on how to behave like a normal person in everyday life. A new one will be released each week in the run up to Christmas.

Leila Johnston is a bright new comedic talent who has worked on a wide range of projects, including PDF comedy magazine All the Rage, website-cum-book How to Worry Friends and Inconvenience People and fantasy gamebook Enemy of Chaos. Leila is also one half of the Shift Run Stop podcast.

LSM Animates Lemsip Commercials
LSM has been working on animation for Lemsip, the UK's number one selling cold and flu remedy, who have just released their latest ads for Lemsip Max All In One.
Creating the 3D animation for the "Sledding" and "Window Cleaner"commercials, LSM worked in conjunction with director Richard Bazley through Absolute Post, to enthuse the Lemsip character with expression and charm, while getting the work finished on time and in budget.

LSM Collaborate with Acclaimed Director Richard Bazley
Le Singe Media have begun working in partnership with acclaimed director Richard Bazley on a number of projects, including a commercial for a top five spending UK advertiser.
"We're delighted to be working with a creative talent of Richard's calibre,"announced LSM CEO David Curry "and the team are all looking forward to collaborating with him on some exciting new projects."
Richard is best known for directing the celebrated "Cool Cat" commercial for Sky along with short films like "The Journal of Edwin Carp" featuring the voice of Hugh Laurie. He is known in the industry for his work on the critically acclaimed "The Iron Giant", supervising three of it's sequences, while he has also contributed to "Pocahontas", "Hercules", "Osmosis Jones"and many more classic animated films.

LSM at Cartoon Digital
Le Singe Media's CEO David Curry will be speaking at this year's Cartoon Digital in Parador de Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Cartoon Digital is a European training seminar about the latest developments in digital animation and interactive entertainment. The three day event will look at how the emergence of Internet connected TVs, set-top boxes and video game consoles will affect animation over the next five years and beyond.
